Clothing and accessories are very familiar to us, attributes we use everyday. They keep us warm, make us beautiful and usually give us a sense of comfort. We can use them as we please, without this they would not have any significance. Odile Bosch positions these garments in a specific way although the surroundings in which they are situated are very recognizable. She hunts for extraordinary locations in which she tries to construct a new context by molding shapes and figures using for example water, sand, branches and wind.

Separated from their human content, these empty shells fulfill their own intimate existence. We are viewing a world which is familiar but at the same time sinister and alienating.
